Trivial Pursuit...

For any of you that remember Trivial Pursuit then this might be a worthwhile couple of factoids to store away in the deep recesses of your brain for later recall!

1. No piece of paper can be folded more than 7 times.

2. No word in the English language rhymes with month.

3. Oysters can change from one gender to another and back again.

Hope these factoids help you onto victory!

i envy those oysters. if i had that kind of ability, i would never have gotten married.

i actually tried to fold a piece of a4 paper immediately after reading this, lol.... didn't get pass 6x... (and yes i'm the kind of person who would try to kiss my elbow EVERY TIME someone tells me i can't)!

@ rima: but even though an oyster can change gender again and again, he/she never has BOTH sexes at the same time, no? so an oyster still won't be able to auto-copulate...

The reason for the post was to see if anyone would comment that they tried to fold a piece of paper more than 7x and were successful or that they were unsuccessful and thereby disproving or proving the myth!

So, Lavanyalea, thanks for trying and proving the myth! As a matter of interest how is the elbow kissing thing going?

On the oyster thing...it was not posted as a precursor to a debate on auto-copulation but the topic sounds like it has promise :D

Rima...

Do you think this revelation about oysters has any relationship to the saying that "the world is your oyster"?
