Obama + Clinton

It seems that I might have called the differences between Obama and Clinton a little more pronounced than they really are! It appears that there are discussions underway regarding how Clinton will end her bid for President, endorse Obama, and then get the Vice Presidential slot on the ticket...

I guess this ends my days as a pundit!

However, I am reading reports that she is not interested and that it is a case of others trying to make sure the "dream ticket" comes to fruition...

We shall see!

it really doesn't matter who you vote for in the end as both parties' policies are very similar.

honestly, anything beats bush. anything

i honestly hope hillary won't be Obama's "babe" on the white house... I agree with Carter, having them both could be disastrous.

Having either one of them could be better than having both at the same time.

Perhaps that is so! I still think it is important to vote :D

Better than bush...goes without saying!

As much as some would like to see it happen, I still do not think that it will...It ends her dream big time...

Rob, I was speaking to some American friends last night, and their take was similiar to mine on this issue. America is ready for a black president or a woman president, but the vast majority of conservative voters would baulk at a black and a woman. Seems that there is still some maturity needed.
Remember opinion only.

Ready for a "black" or "woman" president...I am not sure that I share the same confidence as your friends.

I see no reason why an African American, Asian American, or [insert your personal preference] American, or a woman could not be president.

However, I reckon the US has similar issues to confront like we in Australia do; after all "we" elected Paulin Hanson to Federal Parliament. I feel that the general electorate might not be as broad-minded on these issues as some of us would hope for!

Clinton. as in Hillary, is going to have to do a lot more than throw her support behind Obama, she is going to have to convince those that supported her to change their allegiance and support Obama...

I also think there might be a few more skeltons in the Obama closet. Besides the Republicans are not going to just lie down and die. I see this being tooth and nail to the bitter end...

Just my opinion :D
