Where Are They Now?

This is one of my favourite pictures. It is more than a couple of years old now. So, this kid is probably in his early teens by now.

I wonder has he gone on to be a soccer hooligan or is he still a soccer hooligan in waiting? Or has he become a model Feyenoord fan or has he changed allegiances to another team?

The questions keep coming.

A work colleague sent me this pic ages ago via office email - I loved it so much I set it as my desktop wallpaper straight away - I couldn't help to see the look of my manager's face when she noticed it.

When I resigned, I put this on my desktop wallpaper.

Therry...

It is a great photo! I remember receiving it myself many years ago. If I am not mistaken it was a front page photo in the Australian newspapers at the time!

It is a wonder your former boss did not report you for your departing screen saver!

She couldn't! Because for what reason? There was no such rule in the company saying "An employee, upon resigning, is not allowed to show dislike and dissatisfaction by putting a bloody wallpaper on his/her desktop computer." lol

Besides, my goodbye wallpaper was nothing compared to what she did to the people who worked for her - she was lucky I didn't report all of it to the HRD because I didn't see any point in it.

She used to make one of my colleagues to drive to meetings even though he was clearly not a driver and it was not part of his job desc., and she was one of the office gossip queen who preferred to mingle with our personal lives instead of focusing on work.

In the end she resigned too - a month after I did, and I think she was pissed off because I applied for earlier date which reflected badly on her reputation :P
