Beatles Mania on iTunes...
The Beatles decided to make their entire catalogue of songs available on iTunes last week. In the relatively short span of seven days, the Beatles have managed to move some 450,000 albums and more than 2 million individual songs.
I am guessing that there is no real surprise in the Beatles doing as well as they did in the first week. The question is do they maintain this breakneck speed into week two and beyond?
More to the point who cares about what albums or songs are doing well ("Abbey Road" as the album and "Here Comes the Sun" as the song), all we really want to know is how much money is this putting into the coffers of the accounts of the living Beatles and the estates of the dead ones?
