Nature is an incredible thing, and this is a story that highlights that we humans are just another part of nature and subject to all her amazing and bizarre intricacies for the unexpected.
A one-year-old girl in China is pregnant. Well, probably not pregnant, but she is carrying what doctors believe to be her parasitic twin in her stomach.
The girl, Kang Mengru, has a pretty large and distended stomach. The doctors did a CT scan and were amazed to see that the cause was a foetus. What I have not been able to work out is whether the foetus is alive and growing.
