Sex, Religion, & Power -- Weird, Crazy, Bizarre, & Stupid

Being new to the blogging game and I am not even sure that this is true or more to the point even works, but apparently the choice use of keywords in the title of posts and labels may increase traffic to your blog. Hence, the title of this post.

It seems some of my blogging colleagues have cottoned on to this and may be using it to great effect. But as I said, I am no techno wizard or genius and know as much about this kind of stuff as I do about walking on the moon!

So, a shout out to my colleagues who have on occasion opined about one of these topics:

GJ, Tree, Simon, Patung, Jakartass, Stumpy, and Dilli...

I will let ya know if I get a spike in traffic :)

Hey Rob

Got 26% increase albeit of a low base number.

It can't hurt

Comments still a bit slow, maybe to many prudes or virgins

I have only just started counting / tracking visitors (albeit in an invisable way) because I do not want my not so many readers to see just how few they really are in number :)

So, I am also going to be coming from a very low base!

Perhaps more postings of fantasies, real or imagined, to turn up the heat!

Indcoup used to be big on this as well. Of course the problem is if someone looking for dirty stuff happens on your site, and they don't see the expected dirty stuff (pictures, video), they're just likely to hit the 'back' button pretty sharpish - the next trick to learn is how to make use of those visitors, - assuming they aren't too interested in getting involved in blog conversations -, and this might involve trying to make money off them, although with sex traffic I think you need an awful LOT of it to make said money.

Naked tops the list on my blog... and you wouldn't believe the keywords, or phrases, these people are searching for...

Being topical and "x" rated gets the numbers up. Wait for a celebrity to die or get divorced and then post something with "my threesome with (Insert celebrity name here)" or " (Insert celebrity name here)'s sordid night of passion with a horse"

Subscribe to Google Add's and watch the money roll in!

Tree...

Already read your post :)

Dilli...

Good point! But I am thinking why wait till someone dies when I could post some fantastic, albeit unreal, encounter now...

Perhaps something about DNA testing and the fathering of a love child...

Or I could just get more knowledgeable with photoshop and then post some 'modified' pictures!

Or I could just be one of those miserable bloggers that rants and sets out to offend all and sundry at every possible opportunity...

Seems I have to put more thought into this blogging thing afterall...

Thanks for dropping by!
