Michael Jackson and an Egyptian Statue...

This is kind of cool.

When you first look at the statue after you know what you are looking for, then you find yourself doing a double take and going, "yeah, it does a bit, doesn't it?"

The statue is on display at the Field Museum in Chicago. It has been on display since 1988. The statue depicts an unidentified woman and dates to about 1500 BC. Perhaps this is a sign that Michael Jackson has been reincarnated. After all he did make a music video with a very definite Egyptian theme.

The statue's nose looks like it could do with some work.

OMG. the resemblance is striking. So are the pictures from the Planet of the Apes movie. I dunno if you know about this but there were some pictures circulating few years back about similar topic we're discussing here :)

So much so that my first thought was yeah it looks like him and perhaps it has been photo-shopped (just a bit :D).

Brett...

Yeah, it is. Kind of bizarre really.

It is incredible. See the point on photo-shopping though. This is not to say that it is. However, the resemblance is uncanny though and I have wondered.

Lawgy...

No. Nothing. Link? :)

Sandilands sells himself as Derryn Hinch Lite without the courage of his convictions – two of which caused Hinch to go to jail for speaking out on behalf of young children. He named and shamed child-sex offenders despite suppression orders.

Sandilands seems to have made his living speaking down to children by cross-examining them about crimes committed upon then.

Not yet.

I saw it when I logged into The SMH. I will read it some time tonight.

OK. I have read the Waterstreet piece.

You know that I am not a fan of Kyle Sandilands. And, this is not the first time the bloke has done this sort of real poor form kind of ratings boost show.

I am not sure that the fella should be black-balled for life. Although, he does need to get a better grip on reality.

The points made by Waterstreet, to my mind, are fair and accurate. Sandilands is no Derryn Hinch Lite. And, it would seem that just about everyone but Sandilands knows this.

Once again, though, Lawgy you have taken the discussion off topic. :D

Perhaps it does look like him after surgery, but the point was that it looks like him. Maybe we now know what his plastic surgeon was modeling on.
