UPH -- National Champions -- Jessup International Law Moot...

My congratulations go out to the Universitas Pelita Harapan Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Competition Team who recently won the National Round of the Jessup.

This is the culmination of a lot of hard work over a lit of years. I am proud of their achievement. It seems I should of hung around for another year in Indonesia, and then I could have claimed some responsibility for their convincing win. I would have been their coach and had another trip to Washington DC.

But, on a serious note. Congratulations!

Your success is well deserved. Hopefully, that success is not over and you can improve on last year's performance at the international rounds. The competition gets fiercer every year. So, preparation is always key, you never really can do too much preparation. Yet, do not forget to enjoy the moment, as these moments do not come along all that often.

So, to the team...congratulations and good luck!

You know where to find me if you need anything.

Thank you so much Rob! could have not even made it to the final w/o having the experience of being coached by you over the past 2 years.
Yeah, you should have stayed longer and trained us. I miss going to your office and stop by 'Marhiko' before every drills, LOL.

With all due respect to myself, I am claiming no credit for this one. As I have always told all of you over the years, ultimately the team has to bring their A-game to the competition and "do it" when it counts.

My contribution was to open your eyes to your own potential. And, if I succeeded in doing that then I am very happy for all of you.

I kind of miss Marhiko (and the drills) myself.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Once again, congratulations. You listened, learned, and worked hard. You have now reaped the rewards for your efforts, again.

Enjoy Washington DC! Hopefully it will not be too cold.

As a teacher, I am only responsible for opening their eyes to their own potential. They were a dedicated bunch of youngsters who have done themselves, their families, their university, and their country proud.

I hope their run of success continues in Washington DC. It would be great to see an Indonesian University place in the top 4.

Thanks!

But, the credit must go to the team. Ultimately, they are the ones who have to stand before the judges.
